This journal contains everything you need to know in order to commission me or otherwise buy a picture from me, in FAQ style. I'll update this sheet periodically, so it will always have the newest information.
You drew my OC for free once. Do you still take requests?
That depends on how complicated the request is, and how much schoolwork I have. Send me a note and ask!
What are your prices?
Flat outline sketch: $5, plus $2 for each additional pose or character.
Fully shaded black-and-white character portrait: $10, plus $4 for background, plus $3 per additional character.
Fully shaded color character portrait: $15, plus $5 for background, plus $4 per additional character.

Digital or Traditional?
Wait a minute. What am I actually buying?
You're buying a high-quality, high-resolution picture of your chosen character. It can be a canon MLP character, your OC, or even something non-pony. In fact, I'll draw almost anything you want.
You're also buying the right to withhold the final image from the wider internet. If you don't want me to upload the final image to my general gallery, I won't. And I'll never upload the high-resolution copy to my general gallery. That's yours to keep.
Lastly, you can also buy a high-quality, physical print of your commission! I'll have it professionally printed to the size you want. If you want it framed, I'll do that too. The only catch is that you'll have to give me your address (obviously), and you'll have to pay a little extra for the cost of printing and framing.
What styles do you do?
I typically draw in a painterly style, but I have a more cartoony, cell-shaded style that I'm also working on. I'll draw in whichever style you want.
How do you feel about NSFW?
I like keeping my work PG-13. If you wouldn't see it in the last Avengers movie, chances are I won't do it. That means no extreme violence or hardcore pornography.
On the other hand, I'm a reasonable person. I'm open to mature themes. If you have a request, just ask. I don't bite.
How do I order a commission?
Send me a note! It's that easy.
I don't want to commission you, but I really like your pictures. Can I buy a print of one of the pictures in your gallery?
Send me a note!
If I buy a picture from you and I really like it and want to upgrade it (say from black-and-white to color), can I do that?
Of course! All you have to do is pay the difference in price.
Example: Going from a flat outline with one character to a full black-and-white sketch with one character would only cost $13 - $7 = $4. Snazzy!
I want to buy a picture or print from you. How do I pay you, and what's going to happen after I message you?
First, I'll confirm what type of commission you're buying: flat or shaded, black-and-white or color. If you're buying a print, I'll ask for a delivery address.
Next, you pay. For the first four options, you pay the full price upfront, and I promise to send you the high-resolution image within seven days.
For an expensive, full-color painting, things get a little different. I'll do a flat, black-and-white sketch for free, and send you the high-resolution image. If you like it, you pay for the sketch, and I move on to the next step, which would be shading it. Once that's done, I'll send you that. Again, you tell me if you like it; if so, you pay the difference between the flat sketch and the shaded sketch, and I move on to the final coloring job. Once the final picture is done, I'll send you that, and you pay the difference between what you've paid so far and the final, agreed-upon price. This way, you can be sure I'm not ripping you off, and you get a lot of input into how the final picture will look.
If you're paying for something less expensive and you want to do it the way I just described, you can do that too.
For now, payments are paypal only. But if you have an alternate method in mind, just ask.
Thanks for your time, and happy dA-ing!
